Charlie as you know several states suffered serious damage from tornadoes the past few days. Harrisburg, IL was pretty much destroyed, yet only six were killed. Branson, MO suffered less damage, but Walmart and several other bushiness were totally destroyed, but not one single death. Many are calling the low death count a miracle. Evidence indicates it was not prayer, but preparedness due to the advancement in science that made that preparedness possible. Due to new technology, people had much more time to seek shelter. Even though we now know what it takes to save lives, those who prayed so fervently are also the ones who buy into Rick Santorun's disdain for learning. As you know, scientists tend to deal more with facts than faith.
