As the education goes up the commonsense goes down. This isn’t saying that one should reduce learning as it isn’t the act of being educated that is causing this phenomena; on the contrary Peter writes that we are to prepare our minds for action so that when one is asked to give a reason for their hope in Jesus they can. (cf. 1st Peter 1:13, 3:15) So being educated with facts is a must not a suggestion; however the facts that is based is on objectivity.

This has to be the most convoluted logic one could devise. Unfortunately, it is the logic coming from the mouths of preachers every Sunday. Rick Santorum would find this kind of logic refreshing.
