Some Idle Thoughts

Jews have a tradition known as “Passover.” It has its roots in the Old Testament story in Exodus.  In that narrative, the Israelites were instructed to mark the doorposts of their homes with the blood of a spring lamb and, upon seeing this, the spirit of the Lord knew to pass over the first-borns in these homes,

I have always wondered about that. It appears that even though God is omniscient, He works best if we leave him a visual reminder. Faith is good but one can’t be too careful.
